Social Sensei is a social media growth service. Or, to put it in their own words, it’s an “Instagram influencer marketing agency.” They have broadened their services to include TikTok and other social media platforms, but I guess Instagram is still their most successful project.
They claim to bring thousands of REAL followers to your account monthly. Seems like too much? Because it is. Many of them are fake bots, or other Social Sensei users that get tricked into following their users.
In that way, Social Sensei creates a network of users that seemingly get what they paid for. But since the followers aren’t targeted, and many are fake, this tool won’t get you long-term results.
Also, what other Social Sensei Instagram reviews won’t tell you is that Social Sensei uses automated activity to achieve interaction.
I wanted to mention another thing. Social Sensei tells you that they have built many celebrities’ Instagram accounts. Here, take a look:
I mean, do you really think that celebrities like Snoop Dogg, Jake Paul, and Cardi B need Social Sensei to grow their account? No, me neither.
If they gave an example of a brand or an influencer that was unpopular before using their tool, it would have been plausible. This way – I don’t buy it; it simply looks like a marketing trick.

Descriptions of features on Social Sensei’s website are alluring but somewhat vague. Here’s what I can tell you after I’ve tried them out:

Their Instagram services are not specified explicitly. They just tell you that they will start your IG promotion and that you’ll get a dedicated account manager who makes sure everything’s good and smooth.
Now, what they actually do is use bots to automate your activities and interact with other accounts that will then follow you back. And most of them are either their other users or fake accounts. Not really what you signed up for, isn’t it?
The only good thing is that they manage not to get your account banned or blocked, which many other tools fail to do.
TikTok Growth
As I mentioned, Social Sensei also offers TikTok automation. I haven’t tried it out, but I assume it’s similar to what they do with Instagram.
Social Media Strategy
They also help you devise your social media growth strategy by interacting with your dedicated manager. And believe it or not, it costs $999 a month. Yeah, I wasn’t eager to try that one, but I can tell you that no tool should cost that much.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
Lastly, Social Sensei offers to optimize your website so that you can rank up on search engines. This feature isn’t really for social media networks, but it can be useful if you’re a brand that wants to grow a website.
Pricing of Social Sensei
There’s no going around the elephant in the room – Social Sensei is astronomically overpriced.
Here are the three main pricing plans they offer:
The packages with the US and European-based audience are more expensive than the Global audience packages. Out of curiosity, I’ve tried their Silver package for both Global ($299) and USA ($349) audience, and they turned out to be similar. That is – I’ve noticed fake accounts with random and American names, respectively. Nothing else.
There are also Gold (priced at $749 a month) and Platinum (priced at $999 a month) pricing plans that promise to bring you more followers.
Finally, you can contact Social Sensei if you wish to obtain their Enterprise package and earn more than 20K followers a month. They don’t show the price tag of this package, but I’m 100% sure it’s ludicrously expensive.
Is Social Sensei Legit?
Social Sensei seems legit as a company.
But heads-up: they tell you lies. First of all, they don’t connect you with the right people, and secondly, they use bot practices.

Social Sensei is safe. The payment gateway is verified, the site is secure, and they don’t ask for your IG password.

If you’re disappointed after learning that Social Sensei’s services are mediocre, I feel you. I felt let down, too. It’s a good thing that there are many tools that perform much better!

Social Sensei has evidently put a lot of effort into its marketing campaign, but its performance failed to impress me.
Maybe if their pricing packages were less expensive I would recommend getting Social Sensei for a temporary boost. As of now, this tool is not worth it, even though it has a couple of good features.
