What Is Instamacro?
Instamacro is an Instagram growth app, or better yet, a bot. It performs tasks automatically so that you don’t have to do them.
On their website, they promote it as a “powerful follower and liker service that will make your account stand out.”
When I looked through the website, it looked like a regular Instagram bot. From my experience with these kinds of services, this didn’t look promising.
My initial concerns proved to be valid – Instamacro had the same issues as many other Instagram bots I tried out.
How to Use Instamacro?
Instamacro is easy to set up. You sign up, connect your account, and then you can choose between three different speeds: slow, normal, and fast.
The difference between speeds lies in how many tasks the app performs per day.
Right off the bat, I wasn’t thrilled to see that they recommend you stick to the normal speed for the best experience.
This pointed to the fact the slow speed was probably useless, and that fast would get your account blocked quickly.
Normal speed is supposed to perform tasks so that Instagram doesn’t register third-party activity on your account.
Even though I followed their guide and didn’t use Instagram while Instamacro was performing tasks, my account got blocked.
Instamacro Features
I’ll be honest with you: Instamacro features are rather scarce.
Activity Automation
The bot services perform only three tasks (follow, unfollow, and like).
Other services I tried out had many more features, but I thought: OK, maybe Instamacro wanted to perfect just these three.
The follow and unfollow features should follow people in your niche, people who would be interested in interacting with your profile, and unfollow those who do not follow back.
But the app follows a lot of fake accounts, and the real ones are randomly picked and do not follow back.
The like feature should like posts on accounts who are into the same things as you, but this is again done completely randomly.
Even though I gave it the benefit of the doubt, the three features were not functioning perfectly.
They list hashtag blacklisting and auto-pause as two more features, but I couldn’t make use of them.
They also warn you that you shouldn’t use Instagram while the app is performing tasks. And if you do, under no circumstances should you like, follow, or comment on someone’s posts.

As for the trial period, there is one; you get five hours to try the service out. That’s right, folks, five hours. Generous.
They offer 65% off for a hundred or more days purchased. Instamacro also offers a discount if you have two or more accounts.
You get 20% off for two accounts, 30% off for 3-5 accounts, 40% off for 6-7 accounts, and 50% off for 8 or more accounts.
Is Instamacro Legit?
I’m not sure whether Instamacro is legit.
On the one hand, you don’t have to worry that your credit card information will be stolen.
The app that you have to install will not contain malware or cause your device to perform badly.
That said, I didn’t have any issues with this personally, but I have stumbled upon a concerning number of customers saying that they canceled their subscriptions, but money was still getting taken out of their accounts.
Keep this in mind before using Instamacro.
I am inclined to believe that this is the truth because of the sheer number of people who had this experience, but I cannot say for sure.
If this is true, I would definitely say that Instamacro is a scam.

They claim that it is safe to use, but it honestly isn’t.
You can easily get your account blocked or banned because the actions it performs are detected by the Instagram bot that detects third-party activity.
